ABOUT YOUR MEETING SPEAKER

Dr. Murray Watson is a Canadian Catholic Biblical scholar and interfaith educator who has lived, studied and taught extensively in the Holy Land over the past 20 years. Following doctoral studies at Trinity College, Dublin, he taught Scripture and interfaith relations at Western University (St. Peter's Seminary and Huron University College), and has lectured across Canada. Murray has been actively involved in Jewish-Christian dialogue locally, nationally and internationally, including serving on the staff of the International Council of Christians and Jews (ICCJ). He currently lives just north of Toronto, where he serves as the Adult Faith Animator for the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board, and a member of the Christian-Jewish Dialogue of Toronto.
